Welcome to my Multigenre Research Project!
This website was created for CD 315 (Computer Networking in Communication Disorders) as a place to house my weekly assignments and my multigenre research project.
The purpose of my research this semester was to answer the question “How can a speech-language pathologist assist Alzheimer’s patients with Stage 5 dementia?” You won’t find my answer in the form of a paper, but within seven genres that I have spent the past semester developing and editing.
My project tells the story of a fictional character, Hattie Harris, a 74-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s disease in the fifth stage of dementia. Hattie lives with her daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren because she is no longer capable of living alone.
If you would like to view my completed project, go to the Table of Contents by clicking on the link at the top of the page or clicking here. This will allow you to navigate through my project by viewing each genre individually or you can view them in order by clicking the “Next” link at the bottom of each genre.
Links to all the pages relating to my project, including some preliminary plans, revisions, and a self-evaluation, are provided in the Project Pages link at the top of the page.
Within this website you will also find my weekly assignments for CD 315. The assignments are categorized by week on the right side of the page.
Feel free to browse around and leave a comment! Thanks for visiting!
